We decided to capitalise on the success of the previous year and perform a showcase of Hollywood film music – this time for three performances at the Brindley Theatre.
Songs from ‘Calamity Jane’, ‘Cabaret’, ‘Sweet Charity’ and ‘Seven brides for Seven Brothers’ served to highlight how professional amateur performers can make a show look with the right input from the right people and how anyone can live the dream of performing not just those people who are born with a gift – performance can be taught at any age!
