Our latest workshop was a big hit – Disney! With songs from The Lion King, Little Mermaid, Frozen and many more, over 20 children from 5 to 15 were coached in singing, acting, and dancing each day for the full week of half term, with a final show on the Friday night.

Our next half term show will be Top of the Pops in February. All of our children’s workshops are free to take part in, please contact us if you would like your child to take part.

VML Goes Back to the 80s for Fundraiser

VML Music’s latest fundraiser was an 80s Showcase featuring songs by Cyndi Lauper, Spandau Ballet, Chris de Burgh and many more.

The venue was the Bridge View Sports Bar where VML have held previous successful fundraisers such as 70s Night and Country and Western Night.

Over £300 was raised towards the next VML musical showcase at the Brindley Theatre, which will be Curtain Up, Light The Lights in June 2017.

Vocalise Girls perform at Mayor’s Event

Three young singers from VML’s Vocalise project wowed the crowds when they performed at the Mayor’s Mental Health Awareness event at the Studio, Widnes.

Ashley Kaufman, Katie Kaufman and Leah Smith were selected from the Vocalise group to perform for the Mayor. The girls sang Keane’s Somewhere Only We Know and James Bay’s Hold Back The River as a group, with Ashley performing The Rose by Bette Midler, whilst Leah sang Something’s Got A Hold On Me by Etta James and Katie sang Pixie Lott’s Mama Do.
