Masquerade! Dreams are made of emotion

VML are very proud to have been offered the chance to perform Masquerade, written by Laura Lees.

The cast of VML met with Laura at The Royal Court Theatre in Liverpool to get a real feel of the play from the lady who wrote it.

Masquerade is based on a true story, set in Liverpool in 1986, it is the tale of a young man’s journey of finding out who he really is after finding infamous gay bar ‘The Masquerade’.

The play is full of laugh out loud moments, tragedy and most of all …. hope.

Look out on our facebook page for ticket information. Performances are on 30th November and 1st December 2019.

Blithe Spirit – hilariously spooky!

VML Adult Drama brought the Noel Coward classic, Blithe Spirit to The Brindley stage.

This was one of the most challenging productions we have performed, and one of the most rewarding. Everyone pitched in to make it a resounding success. From the actors on stage to those behind the scenes.

Audiences were not only impressed with the on stage action, but the dedication shown to the building of the set.

This play was proof that the classics remain alive and well.

Lovely Llandudno

VML Adults were treated to a day by the seaside by local community spirited coach firm Anthony’s Travel.

After lots of months of rehearsals in several different perfromance projects, this was the perfect opportunity for the team to kick back and relax, and it was all thanks to the kindness and support of Anthony’s Travel. anthonys1
