It’s Liverpool, it’s 1986. Mike has confided in his best mate Tony about his sexuality, but struggles to be open for fear of his parents finding out. That is until he discovers a back street gay bar called ‘The Masquerade’, which opens up a whole new world to him. The story follows Mike’s journey into realising who he really is, alongside the antics of the staff and customers of ‘The Mazzy’
The cast recieved nightly standing ovations from audiences as they were taken through every emotion, from heart wrenching sorrow, to laugh out loud comedy.
