I joined VML 4 years ago because I loved to sing. I wanted to learn how to be able to to get up and sing in front of people. You certainly gave me that opportunity! I never for one minute envisioned myself being on the main stage in the Brindley with all my friends watching! Through VML, you and the other people I’ve met through singing I was given the confidence in myself and my abilities to do what I wanted to do – and more.

I have throughly enjoyed being a part of VML and all the different things we all have been given the opportunity to do. I admire what you and the charity, all the fundraisers and supporters do for the people in the town (and other side of bridge too) to encourage talent. I have met and made friends with some fantastic people who I am proud to know. I was telling a friend (of 30+ years) the other day that I was involved with a singing group and he was really surprised as he said he could remember me when I was a quiet & shy young lady! Yes, I know you don’t believe it!

So there’s proof of just how much VML has done for me. You also would have been proud of me last night when I had to act the part of the murderous cook at my friend’s fundraiser. I made veryonelaugh and they all said they never knew I had it me. Another plus of being involved in VML and being given confidence in my abilities. Thank you SO much Rob! Xx
